As a digital transformation strategist Priscilla advocates for collective access to the opportunities and potential the internet provides, underscoring the necessity of free and fair digital rights for all. In the digital age, reliance on the internet is so common and seems ubiquitous, yet billions of people worldwide still go without it. She recorded a great TED Talk on the subject in Lusaka, Zambia. Priscilla has worked for UNICEF, the World Food Programme, and ActionAid International. Living in Nairobi, she's now the global CTO of Greenpeace International, the largest environmental organization in the world, with over 3 million members. As Greenpeace states, it uses non-violent creative action to pave the way towards a greener, more peaceful world, and to confront the systems that threaten our environment. In 2014 there was an outbreak of the Ebola virus disease in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. With the covid pandemic, many eyes were on this outbreak again. In this New Yorker article by Jerome Groopman, a virologist and an Ebola expert stated the value of deliberate science plainly. “I learned lessons from Ebola. I understand speed. Despite growing into the most well established environmental pressure group in the world, Greenpeace was born when a few "mystics and mechanics" – as they called themselves – chartered a fishing boat and tried to sail into the middle of a nuclear bomb test, almost tearing the group apart in the process.
